Dr. Roger Forden received a B.A. cum laude in Biology from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1966, then received his M.D. from the School of Medicine, SUNY at Buffalo in 1970. He did his residency in pediatrics at the Women's and Childrens Hospital of Buffalo which he completed in 1973. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine, SUNY at Buffalo. He is a member of and past President of the Buffalo Pediatric Society, is a member of and past President of Chapter 1, District II, American Academy of Pediatrics, and is a member of the Medical Society of Erie County, where he serves on the Peer Review Committee and the Health Law Committee. In April 1978, Dr. Forden joined the practice of Daniel H. Welner, MD, and in 1979 Drs.Welner and Forden established Kenmore Pediatrics. Dr. Forden is a full partner in Kenmore Pediatrics. He and his wife, Carol, are parents of three adult sons, Eric (Amy), Mark (Molly), and Scott. They are also proud grandparents of William Thomas Forden, son of Mark and Molly, born in January 2010.
